Referred to as "Sully" throughout my youth, I contemplated using it as an "on-air" name. Needless to say this never happened, but it's still fun to mention and there's still time! As a graduate of the University of Montana, I first ventured my way onto the air waves as a television reporter. Not long after, I dove into the radio industry. I enjoy media as a career and the potential it has to inform and support the community. Other than consume comfort food nightly, I do have some hobbies. I'm a huge fan of forensic documentaries, chick flicks and mobster movies (I don't understand the combination, either) Plus, I love concerts! Rock, country, jazz, classical, reggae, alternative, electronic, R&B, hip-hop, rap, folk...pick the genre and I'm there! I especially love outdoor concerts and another great love I have of the outdoors, involves long walks with my incredible dog and the occasional human. For many years now, I have tested the waters as a performer in live, local theatre, and whether it be studio artwork, ballet, jazz or modern dance, I'm a big supporter of the arts. As for sports and no matter the level, I'm a huge fan of basketball, track & field and baseball. Any or all of the above, of course, is only important and possible with the bond of family and friends. Here's to those special bonds for everyone.

Local ‘Daughters of the American Revolution’ Celebrate 125 Years
Next Wednesday will mark the 125th Anniversary of the Butte-Silver Bow Chapter of DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), an organization dedicated to promoting history education and patriotism in the community. DAR began in Washington, D.C., in 1890, with the Butte-Silver Bow Chapter hosting its first inaugural meeting on December 21, 1897. Their efforts were tireless and not unnoticed as they worked to improve traditions within the surrounding area. Over the years, they have been instrumental in partaking in Flag Day and Independence Day festivities. They have also helped many organizations, such as the Girl and Boy Scouts of America, The Salvation Army, and our local veterans. The local Daughters of the American Revolution have also helped support high school students with the DAR Good Citizen program and college-bound applicants with a University of Montana-Western DAR Scholarship.
Top ‘Yellowstone Series’ Inspired Holiday Gifts – Part I
Fans of the series Yellowstone are most likely up-to-date on every episode and, by now, are thoroughly engaged in Season 5. My brush with the series came last August when I was cast as an extra in a bar scene for the opening episode that aired November 13th. Well, the word cast is a bit much since the only thing that distinguished my "extra" status that day was how the backside of my jean jacket made it to the screen for literally one second. No, I didn't get to meet Rip, nor did I get a scolding from Beth, but the experience was fun nonetheless! At this point, the next best thing to being on set or watching the series from the comfort of home would be the fun merchandise you can shop for in-store and online that is "Yellowstone" inspired! Talk about great gift ideas for almost everyone on your holiday list! Here are some top picks for the Dutton enthusiasts in your life!

While many are prepping for Thanksgiving dinner and other family festivities this week, some local patrons are preparing themselves for an extended weekend of partying, not to mention the one and only Thanksgiving Beer-Pong Tournament at Anaconda's Club Moderne this Wednesday!! That is, of course, if they don't fare well at the beer pong tourney. Now, even if you've never played beer pong before, you are most likely familiar with the trendy contest that has been around for decades.

Final Episode on Paranormal Activity in Butte to air October 9th
Natives of the comnunity are either skeptical about the topic of paranormal activity or are on board with discoveries that have been made and brought to light in Ghosts of Devil's Perch filmed in Butte. More so, Butte Silver Bow County Sheriff Ed Lester and CEO JP Gallagher have come together in a host of interviews for the televised program to speak out about their own accounts in dealing with the public's reports of paranormal activity in the former mining town of Butte, a place rich in history with hardships dating back to the copper mining industry.
Irish Road Bowling: Making its Way Across the Pond to Butte
So, what exactly is Irish road bowling? Many residents in the surrounding area have been familiar with this historic and interesting event for some time now. As illustrated on the websites All Events and Irish Around The World, Irish road bowling dates back to the 1600s, and traditionally involved the hurling of an iron ball in Ireland's countryside. The fewest throws of the dense ball along country roads and landscape is the way to win.
