Think back to the year 1991. The 80s were behind us. The first Gulf War was underway. The Soviet Union dissolved and we were all introduced to Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit."

1991 was also the year we discovered the sequel to one of our favorite action movies. "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" was an explosive Blockbuster.

According to Wikipedia

In 2029, Earth has been ravaged by the war between the malevolent artificial intelligenceSkynet and the human resistance. Skynet sends the T-1000—an advanced, shape-shifting prototype Terminator made of virtually indestructible liquid metal—back in time to kill resistance leader John Connor when he is a child. To protect Connor, the resistance sends back a reprogrammed T-800 Terminator, a less advanced metal endoskeleton covered in living tissue.

The special effects at the time this movie was released were MIND BLOWING. Audiences watched as the T-1000 would melt into a liquid metal.

Our friend Tim Montana had a run-in with a Terminator recently. Actor Robert Patrick (Terminator 2)  stopped into the Wise River Club while taking a break from filming a new season of "1923."

Tim mentioned to Patrick that his young son was a HUGE "Terminator" fan. So Robert agreed to surprise him at his school.

How intimidated would you be if a T-1000 walked through the door? Tim's 8 year old son, Walker, was more than delighted to meet a REAL "Terminator."

The look in Walker's eyes looked a lot like my son's eyes did when Tim surprised him for his 12th birthday this past summer. THANKS AGAIN TIM!
