October seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye, and Thanksgiving (November 27) will be upon us fast. Home chefs are already penciling out our menus, getting a jumpstart on baking, and thinking about the star of the day, our turkeys.

No matter how you like to cook them, one thing most Montanans will agree on is that Hutterite turkeys are simply the best. This year, the Mountain View Colony is bringing its refrigerator truck full of turkeys to the Billings area for ONE DAY ONLY.  And you'll have to bounce out to Laurel to get one.

UPDATE 11/11: Mountain View Colony will have its fresh turkeys, ducks, chickens, honey, veggies, and baked and canned goods at several locations.

I know I will be at the truck, bright and early on November 22, to make sure I score my fresh Mountain View Colony turkey.
