New Western Clothing Store To Open in Downtown Bozeman
Could this store be a hit with locals and tourists? Time will tell.
New Stores in Downtown Bozeman
It's been interesting over the past few years.
Downtown Bozeman has gone through several changes since 2020.
Many longtime-running businesses like Bozeman Antiques have closed and restaurants have new owners like Open Range.
Downtown Bozeman has seen a surge of new stores you only see in resort towns or massive cities.
National brands like Lululemon, Athleta, and Backcountry have opened standalone locations in Bozeman to rousing success. There is also an uptick in Western lifestyle stores like Lucchese Cowboy Boots, Meshika Hats, and more.
Downtown Bozeman has something new to check out in 2025.
New Western Clothing Store Coming in 2025
If you have walked around the downtown area in the past few weeks, you might have seen a hint of a new store opening soon.
The old Montana Shirt Co. location on Main Street has the windows covered up, but a new logo and QR code are on display.
We decided to see what the QR code led us to, and it looks like a new Western lifestyle clothing store is in the works.
Crossbow is a clothing store started by two friends in Telluride, Colorado.
Crossbow makes belts, bags, hats, and more. The store will also carry men's, women's, and kid's clothing.
There is no word yet on when the store will open, but we feel it will be early 2025.
How Will Crossbow Fare?
It all depends on how they market to locals.
Many of these stores cater to tourists, but new stores must attract local customers to be successful in the long run.
