According to a press release from the Montana Department of Transportation, crews will install new guard rails along Interstate 90 through Bozeman. The eastbound off-ramp is expected to be closed on Tuesday, July 30 and the westbound on-ramp is expected to be closed on Wednesday, July 31, weather and other unforeseen factors permitting. The ramps will not be closed at the same time and work is anticipated to take place during daylight hours only.

Drivers are encouraged to use the Bear Canyon Exit  (313) and the N. 7th Avenue Exit (306) as alternate routes. Allow for extra travel time if these ramps are part of your normal commute. The work is part of the ongoing I-90 Bozeman East project, which will rehabilitate approximately 3 miles of I-90, along with all Exit 309 ramps. The project begins near the Rouse Avenue overpass and extends to the Fort Ellis Road overpass. Work on this project began in April and is anticipated to be completed in late August.
