As we wind down our last few days of work, (and I can hear the choruses of "must be nice to have so much time off). I'm thinking about all of the Christmas traditions that my life has cycled through.
7 year old Eleanna said she was talking with her little brother one day, and she told him her idea: we should do a Christmas dinner for homeless people. Her little brother liked the idea too. So they brought it up to mom and dad.
"COVID starts fires and kills Christmas trees now? Holey moley." That was one reaction to the news that Montana won't have a Christmas tree in the state capitol in Helena this year. Another commenter called it Bullock's "final little FU on the way out the door."
If you haven't gotten your Christmas tree yet, and you want to support a good cause, you can do both. Many of you are familiar with the women's Teen Challenge program based in Missoula. Now, there is also a new men's Adult and Teen Challenge program based in Billings that will be serving the entire region. Both organizations are doing Christmas tree fundraisers in both cities.
