From Senator Steve Daines (R-MT), to Billings School District 2 Superintendent Greg Upham, former KULR8 reporter Mary Beth Dickson, to Montana Budget Director Kurt Alme, and the chairman of the Montana GOP Don "K". It would weaken Montana, and strengthen Washington, DC. Senator Tester is still backing statehood for DC, as Congressional Democrats pressed forward this week on a hearing regarding DC statehood.

The people were definitely heard on this one. As we mentioned last week, KULR-8 reporter Luke Laster traveled to Cooke City to interview business owners who described being shut off from the rest of Montana. Then, a young man from Bozeman was arrested for attempting to drive to Cooke City.
