Music and Radio are two of my biggest passions and I am lucky to be able to combine both in my profession. I have been a professional on air personality for close to a quarter of a century and owe this to being introduced to music at a young age. As a boy I would search the late nite AM airwaves for signals from distant cities and can't believe that I am now one of the radio voices I heard. My hobbies are playing the guitar, poker, sports and gardening.

Gone but not forgotten Butte restaurants and foods. Which ones do you miss them most?
We recently were discussing what Butte's signature food would be, thinking it would have to be either a pasty or a pork chop sandwich. Boy, were we wrong. Suggestions ranged from the Pekin to a Town Talk maple bar and, to be honest, it's hard to argue with any of them. One suggestion that really stood out was one of those famous sandwiches from the cooler at the Deluxe Bar on Front Street. Remember those? Remember how incredibly thick and delicious they were? We would always get the ham or the roast beef. One half sandwich and a bag of chips was a perfect lunch for a Butte kid, or at least that was the way my family always did it. But today, the Deluxe is long gone and it's sandwiches are a fond and delicious memory. What other things did you used to eat in Butte that you can't get anymore? Here are some of the things we remember and miss.
What is Butte, America’s “signature” food, the pasty or the pork chop?
When you're looking at different "signature" dishes from across America, you're going to think of things like the famous Cheesesteak sandwich from Philadelphila. There's pizza, and when you say "New York" or "Chicago" style, it's a given that you either mean ultra-thin or deep-dish and loaded with toppings. Boston has baked beans. Even in Montana, certain towns are known for certain things. Bozeman, at least to me, is synonymous with a Pickle Barrel sandwich. In Missoula, it's a Mo Club burger. Billings has the Burger Dive. But what about Butte?
Uptown Architecture one of many things that sets Butte apart.
