Bozeman Schools Propose Blended Model For Fall

The Bozeman School District is planning on several models of instruction for the 2020-2021 school year.  With numerous models proposed, Superintendent Bob Connors' has released his recommendations.

Connors is proposing a pre-k 12 fully blended model for kids to attend school. As part of this model kids with last names beginning with A - L will attend school on campus Monday & Tuesday. Then kids with last names beginning with M - Z will attend school on campus Thursday & Friday. Days students are not on campus they will be remote learning. An option for 100% remote learning for students is available.

If you want to register for 100% remote learning you are asked to fill out this form by Wednesday, August 12th.

As part of the Bozeman School District Draft Plan, they outlined what the blended learning would look like. Here are some of the concepts the plan would follow:

• Seating charts required in all classrooms
• Students would access core content in their homeroom
• Lunch would happen in the homeroom
• Staggered outdoor recess schedule
• Staggered passing periods
• Remote learning time focused on watching recorded mini-lessons, individual work/completion/practice/homework
