There continues to be an outpouring of support for a young Montana girl whose mother was murdered while she slept in the other room. A GoFundMe page set up to create a college fund for young Chloe has now topped $21,000.
According to the Billings Gazette, the victim is Kari Daily. "Detectives noted blunt force trauma to the head and neck when they uncovered her in a basement bedroom closet, covered by blankets. The GoFundMe described it as an act of domestic violence. The alleged homicide suspect is Anthony Ray Sullivan, a Billings resident and championship boxer who, in charging documents, described Kari as his girlfriend."
The GoFundMe page set up in Kari's honor says she "was so many things to so many people—an incredible mom, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. She brought light and love into every room she entered. Whether she was cheering at a dance competition, studying hard as a student to become an addictions counselor, serving others as a waitress, or exploring the world as an adventurer and rodeo lover, Kari did it all with passion and heart. But above all, she was a devoted and loving mother to her beautiful daughter, Chloe."
Here's why they created the GoFundMe page:
"We are creating this fund to support Chloe’s future; whether it be a college education, trade school, buying her first home, etc. —a future Kari dreamed of and worked every day to provide for her baby girl. Every donation, no matter the size, is a step toward ensuring that Chloe has the opportunities her mother wanted for her. All donations will be deposited into Chloe's 529 college fund."
