Some people are having trouble reaching the 911 call center here in the Bozeman area. A telecommunications failure in Helena is causing intermittent phone issues here locally and across South Central Montana, according to Gallatin County Emergency Management.

If an emergency occurs and your 911 call does not go through, local authorities are asking you to immediately hang up and try again. Again, these issues have been intermittent, so hopefully you will not have a problem reaching 911 should you need it.

A Reminder

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office is asking you to direct all questions, concerns, or complaints about face coverings or coronavirus to the COVID-19 Call Center set up by the Gallatin City-County Health Board. Please do not call the Sheriff's Dept or Police Dept to report people not wearing a mask.

You can reach the COVID-19 Call Center 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 406.548.0123. You may also email them at callcenter@readygalletin.com.
