The World Museum of Mining is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a special dinner on July 18, 2025 and you are invited to attend.  This milestone event will honor six decades of preserving Butte’s rich mining heritage and the stories of the people who shaped it. Guests can expect a wonderful evening filled with history, camaraderie, and appreciation for the museum’s impact on the community.

Attendees will enjoy a carefully curated menu, inspired by Butte’s mining-era traditions, along with live entertainment by Me & Thee, a wonderful local Celtic band that brings the spirit of the past to life through song and story.

Adding to the excitement, the evening will include a silent auction, offering attendees a chance to win incredible prizes—including a custom-painted Harley-Davidson motorcycle.  Whether you’re a motorcycle enthusiast or just love the thrill of a great auction, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

This is more than just a dinner—it’s a celebration of resilience, innovation, and the legacy of mining in Montana. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to the museum, this event promises to be a memorable tribute to the past and a toast to the future.

Let's take a look at the custom painted Harley Davidson motorcycle that will be up for bid.  It truly is a beauty.
