New Upscale Hotel Coming To Downtown Bozeman

This land has been vacant for almost a decade, and now we know what could be built soon.

If you don't know, hotels make a lot of money in the Bozeman area. Bozeman has upscale hotels, like The Armory and The Lark, and then there are more affordable hotels, like the C'Mon Inn and The Sapphire. There is something for everyone.

Even though dozens of hotels offer different prices, amenities, and other services, these hotels are booked solid from the Spring through the Fall. Being close to areas like Big Sky, Yellowstone National Park, and other outdoor areas,

Bozeman hotels are in a prime spot to make money throughout the year.

So it shouldn't be surprising that a new hotel is coming to the area. The fascinating part is where it will be built.

The Bozeman Real Estate Group announced a new Hampton Inn & Suites will be built on the corner of Main Street and 5th Avenue. If that location seems familiar, you wouldn't be wrong.

There used to be a hotel and steakhouse on the corner called The City Center Motor Inn. In 2017, the building was demolished and has been vacant ever since, or so we believed.

Hampton Inn & Suites plans on constructing a hotel over 90,000 square feet, which will have a pool and space for retail on the ground floor.

This area of Bozeman has been seeing a lot of development, with a new condo development being built across the street.

The hotel is in the final review stage with the city to approve the construction plans, but we have to imagine the hotel will take at least a year to be built. We probably won't see it until late 2025 or early 2026.

Will this help lower hotel prices, or will it be more of the same? Only time will tell.
