Billings' Festival of Trees is December 5 - 7

The Festival of Trees is a Billings holiday tradition. Now in its 39th year, the three-day event is a fundraiser for The Family Tree Center, an awesome organization helping prevent child abuse in our community.

If you're unfamiliar with what they do, we'll share more below, but first... let's talk Christmas trees!

The Festival of Trees Gala and Auction is on Thursday, December 5.

The Family Tree Center hosts just two major fundraising events each year. One is a golf tournament. The other is the Festival of Trees Gala and Auction, held at the MetraPark Pavillion. It kicks off the weekend of lights and fun. Doors open at 5 pm, with a champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception.

A delightful evening of dinner, lights, and holiday cheer.

Dinner service will follow where attendee tables will be surrounded by three dozen of the most beautifully decorated Christmas trees, all of which will be auctioned to the highest bidder. Winning bids on some trees (most of which have a variety of valuable gifts under each tree) have hit thousands of dollars.

The gala will have multiple tables of silent auction items and there will be other fun games and chances to win sweet prizes; a gorgeous piece of jewelry is the Heads or Tails prize. Tickets for the gala and auction are $75 per person and will sell out.

Can't make the auction?

The auction and gala are just one piece of the three-day Festival of Trees. Other events include Story Time with Santa, Tea in the Trees, Carnival Night, and more. See the full schedule of events HERE.
