Another recent Hip Hop concert in Billings starred Lil' Wayne. Despite wild rumors that he may not show up (or would put on a disappointing show), the May 23rd concert was excellent and well-attended.

You've probably heard the news that Ludacris is coming to MontanaFair this summer, and now the same promoter who brought Billings the My 90's Playlist and Lil' Wayne concerts has lined up another awesome show. Headlined by Ja Rule and Ashanti, guests on the bill include the Ying Yang Twins, DJ Quick, and Too Short.

Ja Rule ruled the charts in the early 2000s.

You couldn't turn on the radio without hearing his unmistakeable voice; bumping megahits like his duet 2001 duet with Jennifer Lopez, I'm Real. Ja Rule had eight songs hit the Billboard Hot 100 Top Ten during the pinnacle of his career, including Put It On Me, Livin' It Up, and Always On Time (one of his duets with Ashanti).
