Several Big Sky Conference players from Montana State University and University of Montana make the 53 man cut in the NFL.

Final rosters as well as depth charts were released announcing the players that have the opportunity to take the field on opening day for the NFL. Game one is September 8th with Buffalo traveling cross country to take on the defending champion Los Angeles Rams.  Two MT State Bobcats will be in uniform for the defending champ including WR Lance McCutcheon and OLB Daniel Hardy.  Hardy is 2nd on the depth chart while McCutcheon sits as 3rd on the depth chart.  Former Eastern Washington star wide out Cooper Kupp is the leading receiver for the Rams and considered the fourth best player in the NFL.

Other players with ties to Montana colleges are Troy Anderson, ILB for Atlanta making the roster sitting 4th in the depth chart.  Alex Singleton, also an ILB from MSU, 2nd on the depth chart for Denver.  Lewis Kidd, an OL-RT from MT State made the New Orleans Saints roster sitting 3rd on the depth chart.  Dylan Cook, the lone University of Montana star to survive the cut will now have a new role in protecting the G.O.A.T. as a right tackle for Tampa Bay.  Although Dylan holds number 3 on the depth chart, preseason injuries have decimated the Buccaneers, so Tom Brady will be looking for anyone that can protect him.

These are the players that played college ball at a school in Montana and do not include the Montana athletes that played college ball out of state.  It also, does not include any players that may sign practice squad contracts.
