Bozeman Airport Adds 1,600 New Parking Spaces. What Will It Cost?
If you've ever struggled to find a parking spot at the airport, you're not alone. One airport in Montana is doing something to fix the problem and ease the struggles of travelers.
Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, Montana's largest airport, has announced the addition of 1,600 new paid parking spaces. Construction is currently being completed on the new 10-acre economy lot expansion. The rate will remain at a maximum of $10.00/day.
The number of travelers flying to and from Bozeman has increased substantially in the past few years, and parking has become a major issue. According to an article published in September, the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport ranks in the top three in the country for post-pandemic growth. In 2021, the airport handled an all-time record of 1.94 million passengers. BZN also welcomed Southwest Airlines in 2021.
The population of Bozeman and the surrounding area has grown at a rapid pace in recent years, and it was only a matter of time before upgrades were needed. The airport recently released its winter flight schedule for 22-23. If you're flying out of Bozeman, keep an eye out for signage that will direct you to the new parking area.
