Popular Country Star Shares Photos of Successful Montana Hunt
A well-known country artist recently went elk hunting in Montana and shared photos of his success.
If you listen to country music, you've most likely heard the name Chase Rice. Chase Rice has quite a few hits, including Ready, Set, Roll, and Eyes on You. In 2021, Rice teamed up with Florida Georgia Line for Drinkin' Beer. Talkin' God. Amen.
When Chase Rice isn't in the studio recording new music or on tour playing for sold-out crowds, he spends a lot of time out of the spotlight. He's no stranger to Montana; he's been spotted in downtown Bozeman, and recently visited the set of Yellowstone near Hamilton.
Before becoming a massive country star, Chase Rice was a linebacker for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He also spent some time on a Nascar pit crew. In 2010, Rice was a contestant on the reality TV show Survivor: Nicaragua. He released his first album Dirt Road Communion in 2012 and has released four additional albums since then. His most recent album, The Album, was released in 2021.
Rice also loves to hunt, and recently visited Montana to go on a guided hunting trip with his brother. On Tuesday, Rice shared pictures of two massive Montana elk on social media, so apparently, the hunt was successful.
Here's what Rice said about the experience;
Doubled up in Montana today with my brother. Rifle hunting usually ain’t my thing but sometimes you do what ya gotta do. It was still badass. Now we got meat headed back to North Carolina with him, and more back to Tennessee with me. Any buddies in Tennessee who want elk meat hit me, enough to go around.
We're happy to hear that he'll will be enjoying his Montana elk and plans to share the wealth.
