We got a call from a male at the Comfort Inn who wanted to speak with an officer. After about an hour of talking to the male, he made statements that caused some concern for his safety and the safety of the public. That is what caused the active incident that law enforcement is currently working. Our goal is to bring a peaceful resolution to this incident and ensure the safety of the public, the officers, and the male.
