Columbus Fire Chief Rich Cowger gave us the latest update Monday morning following the weekend railroad bridge collapse and train derailment over the Yellowstone River.
A dispatcher with the Stillwater County Sheriff's office tells us that the 911 call came in at 6:12 Saturday morning. A railroad bridge collapsed between Reed Point and Columbus, Montana with multiple tanker cars in the Yellowstone River.
"Hey, do you know me, I'm your grandpa." That's reportedly what a stranger in a pickup truck said when he approached a middle school-aged girl in Columbus, MT Wednesday afternoon.
