Graduation

A Billings teen with Down Syndrome who is not being allowed to enter her senior year and graduate has been blowing up local social media, and the School District isn't saying anything about it.

Hellgate High School seniors received some down-to-earth real life advice from Tyler Hamilton, Hellgate High School graduate and former professional cyclist whose career was destroyed due to his use of performance enhancing drugs.

Just before we wrapped up our conversation with School District 2 Superintendent Greg Upham in Billings, I figured I better ask him a couple more quick questions. Will there be a prom, and will there be a graduation this year? Graduation yes. Prom no.

Talk about timing. I turned on the TV in my camper on Sunday morning and just happened to be flipping through the channels when I spotted this great cap being worn by one of the Skyview High School graduates- "You will never see this face AGAIN!"

They've shared their plans as well as messages of thanks for the family, teachers, and coaches who've helped them reach this important milestone. Congratulations, Class of 2020, we're so proud of you.
