Even when egg shelves at the grocery store are full, nothing beats farm fresh eggs. Thankfully there are lots of places across the state where you can buy them.

What's cool is that several of the smaller, Montana producers of farm fresh eggs also sell to many local grocery stores, including national chains. That means that when this 'Montana egg shortage' comes to an end, you'll still be able to purchase super high quality eggs.

FARMER BOY EGGS (Drummond, Montana): The Farmer Boy Eggs official website and the Farmer Boy Eggs Facebook page both list all of the places you can purchase their cage free/free range eggs. "The eggs are reviewed and sorted to provide you a quality wholesome product from hens that have the freedom to roam just like the old days."

LocalHarvest.org (website): A good resource for locally raised chickens, eggs and all sorts of other ranch products. Their motto is "Real Food, Real Farmers, Real Community".

BOZEMAN WINTER FARMERS' MARKET (Bozeman, Montana): From October through May, the Bozeman Winter Farmers’ Market happens on Saturdays at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. 9am to 12 noon.

FARM FRESH EGGS MONTANA (Manhattan, Montana): "Grocery stores, restaurants, and bakeries all around Bozeman, Belgrade, and Big Sky including: Rosauers, all Town & Country locations, Roxy's Market, Albertsons in Belgrade, Sweet Pea Bakery, Wild Joe's Coffee Spot, Rise and Shine Cafe, Blue Moon Bakery" all use eggs from Farm Fresh Eggs Montana.

ABUNDANT MONTANA FARM FRESH EGGS (Manhattan, Montana): 3845 Highline Rd., Manhattan.

Shop Montana Ranch & Farm Grown Products (Facebook Group): This public Facebook group was created to connect you directly with the ranch and farm families of Montana. When you do a quick keyword search on the FB page, you'll find several discussions regarding farm fresh eggs and where you can buy them. BONUS - you'll discover local producers of all sorts of different fresh products, not just eggs.

MONTANA EGGS & CHICKS (Facebook Group): It's a pretty self explanitory Facebook group. This one also offers lots of information if you're interested in raising you own chickens, not just buying eggs from others.

ChickenandChickInfo.com (website): This is a great resource to find farms across Montana. Great Falls, Missoula, Kalispell are all included.
