Alligator Alcatraz. You've heard of the new illegal alien detention facility in the Florida Everglades. What if we had one in Montana? What would we call it? Our listeners had some ideas...

It started with "Tim in Billings" and "Right on John" in Bozeman.

If we had a Florida style Alligator Alcatraz in Montana...what would we call it? (Great q from Right On John this AM) Tim in Billings: "Grizzly Gitmo"...Right on John: "Carnivore Island." What say you?

Here's some responses that came in via X and on Facebook.

@mediabilitypro: Uncle Bob's Bear Bait Company.

@ValerieMorger: Snake Pit Palace!!
@haslam_mm: Rattler Resort. Plenty of public lands in Montana to put a pop up facility. Recruit retired vets to staff it.
@MrCrankyPants7: Vigilante Village
Rob TiffanyA floating barge in the middle of the Berkeley pit. We could call it Maxine Waters  (I replied: You just figured out a way to make the Berkeley Pit even more toxic...)
Cody Haslam:  Build it in the middle of “Nowhere, Montana “, feed them water and PB&J, hire veterans to run it, and name it “Grizzly Gorge”.
Jason Bartosik: The Grizzly Gulag. Duh.
Eric Reinhardt: Buffalo petting zoo
Beth Goldberg Knodel:  Mosquito Prairie...good luck there...iykyk
Julie W Cole: Elkatraz

What do you think? Shoot us a message on the Montana Talks app, or email aaron (at) montanatalks.com if you have some more name ideas for the Montana "Alligator Alcatraz."

Judging by the comments on X, I think "Grizzly Gitmo" may be the winner!
