Deranged Border Patrol Protesters Continue Antics in Whitefish
Death threats. Protests. Throwing plywood at Border Patrol vehicles. Doxxing agents. Blocking traffic on Highway 93. Look at what the deranged left wing Border Patrol protesters have been up to in Whitefish.
Two weeks ago, I got the chance to hear the Border Patrol agent in charge for the Whitefish station speak at the Glacier Pachyderm Club in Kalispell. He talked about the great work they've been doing to go after criminal illegal aliens in Northwestern Montana (over 116 arrested since last year he told us at the time). He also talked about the protesters targeting Border Patrol agents, attempts at doxxing agents by following them to their homes, and how one of the protesters levelled death threats against Border Patrol Agents.
In case you missed it, KPAX-TV reported how some arrests had been made after some of the protesters crossed the line.
Here's part of the statement from the Whitefish Police Department:
Officers arrived on scene and directed protesters to not block vehicles from leaving the U.S. Border Patrol facility. In response, three protesters locked arms intending to prohibit the vehicle from leaving...A report was also made to the Whitefish Police Department alleging a protester had thrown plywood at a U.S. Border Patrol vehicle.
Stacy Zinn, the former head of the DEA here in Montana, is now vice chair of the Montana GOP. She spoke Friday morning at that same Pachyderm Club in Kalispell.
I asked her before the event about how President Trump has now declared Antifa an official terrorist organization. Given the violent tendencies of some of these left wing protesters in the Flathead Valley, could there be a potential Antifa connection going on?
Stacy Zinn: "I would not be surprised. Because, I mean, if you look at Spokane, you look at that general area and hop, skip, and a jump for those individuals. Antifa is in that general region, and so it's easy for them to come over here. Whenever they have a bone to pick with law enforcement, with the Border Patrol, federal agents, they can rally up the troops. Matter of fact, during the Sheehy campaign, we were getting threats from that region that they were going to come over and start conducting protests during our rallies. So they are around it's just a matter of being able to recognize and know what they're doing."
