It's one of the first Montana towns Charlie Kirk visited as a teenager when he was just starting Turning Point USA. Now, Kalispell is planning a big celebration of life for American patriot Charlie Kirk.

Celebrations of life for Charlie Kirk have taken place on the University of Montana and Montana State University campuses, along with other towns across Montana.

On Thursday, a young woman named Gracie Stogsdill is helping to lead an event in Kalispell.

Come celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk this Thursday in the parking lot of Sykes Diner, 4-7 pm. If you'd like, you can bring a chair, an American flag, a candle, etc. We will be remembering Charlie as he lived: a husband, a father, a patriot, and a servant of Christ.

A few important notes that were shared include the fact that Sykes Diner will be closed, s food, drinks, and restroom access will not be provided.

We ask all attendees to be respectful, peaceful, and gracious, as we are utilizing private property for this event. Anyone behaving in an uncivil manner will be asked to leave.

Parking may also be a challenge so folks are encouraged to access street parking near Sykes, and some are planning to park and walk from further down the street closer to the mall.

By the way, if you missed it- earlier this week, we caught up with State Rep. Braxton Mitchell (R-Columbia Falls) who first met Charlie Kirk when he was 18 years old and quickly became a Turning Point USA ambassador.
Wednesday morning, we also caught up with the President of the Turning Point USA chapter at the University of Montana. Click here for full audio from both conversations.
