Do Montanans Want Someone New When It Comes To The President?
In another life, I was once a talk radio host. I'm a conservative guy by nature, so it seemed like a pretty good fit. I would spend my free time watching all the news and getting into debates on social media. I would take the airwaves and argue with folks that didn't agree with me.
To be honest, it was exhausting.
I was angry, I was edgy, and I wasn't a whole lot of fun at parties. Plus, as time went on, I became more and more disenchanted with politicians and politics. It's easy to stand in front of a crowd of thousands of people and say all the things that people want to hear, however, when it comes to delivering on those promises, that seems to be where politicians fall short.
I bring this up because our current President, Joe Biden just announced that he will be running for re-election in 2024. We already know that our former President, Donald Trump is also running in 2024, which means there's a very good chance that the 2024 election could be a repeat of the 2020 election.
So my question is, are Montanans ok with that? Or are you ready for someone new?
I would never tell you who to vote for, but I think most folks can admit that both candidates are certainly flawed. The question that I have, and I know I'm not alone is, are these really the two best people that we can find in the nation to run our country?
Donald Trump certainly has a strong following here in Montana, with hundreds of thousands of Montanans backing the former President. Having said that, it seems that there is almost an equal number of folks that want nothing to do with Trump.
In the case of President Biden, it seems that more people vote for him because they don't like or approve of Trump, which isn't a real ringing endorsement for the current Commander and Chief.
So, I created a poll to find out what Montanans think. It's anonymous, so you don't have to worry about anyone seeing your vote. I would like to know what you think.
