Dane Fletcher Tackles Bozeman’s Divisive City Flag Debate
I'm glad to see Dane Fletcher back in the game! He's back from hunting camp, and sounding off on the City of Bozeman for adopting the transgender rainbow PRIDE flag as the official flag of city government.
Dane Fletcher: "Why can't we all be represented under the American flag and the State of Montana flag? I'm pretty sure last time I checked that the American flag encompasses everything- equality, freedom for all. So why do we need another side's damn flag that represents sexuality for just a minority of people?
Dane Fletcher, for those who don't know, is a former Montana State Bobcat football great who also stood out on the field in the NFL. He's also a Bozeman business owner who cares deeply about his community.
Previously, he's weighed in on the transient "urban camping" problem facing Bozeman. He also called out Bozeman leaders for letting illegal aliens run rampant in the city.
After taking a break from publicly commenting on politics, he says the city adopting the rainbow flag as the official city flag forced him to speak out. He basically calls it divisive and a gigantic waste of taxpayer dollars.
Dane Fletcher: "Last time you know anything's actually happened downtown Bozeman serious that I can remember is 2 straight white guys getting attacked, stabbed, damn near murdered by illegal immigrants. So that's what I can remember. You could fill me in on what you remember."
