We've had updates about the manhunt for the Anaconda shooting suspect here on a daily basis. But I want to tell you about another angle to this story- the outpouring of support for local law enforcement pouring in from across the country.

The latest update on the manhunt can be found below from Wednesday's podcast audio, but I want to take you back to our Monday morning conversation and what Attorney General Austin Knudsen following the long weekend in Anaconda.

AG Knudsen: "Last night (Sunday night), at about five o'clock, I ran down the hill. We went to Peppermint Patties and had a burger. The amount of support coming from across the country is just stunning. I was talking to the owners of Peppermint Paddy's right there on the east edge of town. They've got donations coming in from across the country, and it's to feed law enforcement. They literally sent me back up to the command center with almost a dozen hamburgers just to feed officers. So the local outpouring of support, the national outpouring of support, has been just fantastic."

AG Knudsen also talked about the initial response from law enforcement- well over 250 individuals from different agencies, not just across the state, across the counties, but a large federal presence as well, along with the FBI and their tactical team. The National Guard and Two Bear Air were also in the air. "We are absolutely throwing every resource we have at capturing Michael Paul Brown," the AG added.
