A student stabbed a teacher in a public school in Billings, Montana. Is the stabbing suspect transgender or not? Why is that such a tough question to answer?

Since I first heard about the horrific stabbing of a teacher at Billings Senior High School- right near downtown of Montana's largest town- I had two key sources tell me that the word on the street is that the student is transgender. This, as we have seen a string of violent incidents involving transgender suspects, or at least those motivated by radical trans ideology across the country in recent years.

Meanwhile, practically every student and parent we've heard from that are part of School District 2 is saying that the suspect is trans, and some are even pointing to a TikTok account (which we won't name without confirmation etc). In other words, everybody and their mother- literally- is saying the stabbing suspect who stabbed the teacher is trans.

Wednesday morning I raised the question on the radio and added that I would work to confirm one way or another. I also reached out to School District 2 in Billings and Billings Police Chief Rich St. John. No response back from SD2 on the question.

Is the student who stabbed the teacher at Billings Senior High transgender? Police Chief St. John says the investigation is underway and there is “nothing more we can release at this time.”

Yellowstone County Attorney Scott Twito tells me no arrests have been made at this time, but he will keep us posted if charges are filed.

Meanwhile, the question is starting to be raised nationally. "LibsOfTikTok" posted on X (as you can see below) that "the police and school are being VERY tight-lipped about the student attacker. I’m told by multiple sources that it was a transgender student. A male who thinks he’s a girl. I’m told he stabbed the teacher then stabbed himself. Both are recovering in the hospital. Why are police and school staff covering this up? The public has a right to be informed about dangers to their safety." LibsOfTikTok added, "Superintendent Erwin Garcia must be transparent with parents and the public about this attack."
