Ian Munsick Will Kick Off 2025 NILE Weekend in Billings
The NILE isn't until October, but fans have reason to be excited early. In a 5/27 press release, NILE organizers announced that Ian Munsick will kick off the NILE Stock Show this year, with a performance on Thursday, October 9th at MetraPark. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 30th, at 10 AM at the MetraPark box office.
Born into a ranching family in Sheridan, WY, Munsick is not another drugstore cowboy/pop singer-turned Western. His country-boy roots are the real deal. Ian started singing with his dad and two older brothers at age 10 in their family band, The Munisk Boy. They won "Group of the Year" at the 2017 Academy of Western Artists awards.

Munsick made it big with his 2021 single, Long Haul, reaching Gold status, followed by 2023's Long Live Cowgirls (with Cody Johnson), also hitting Gold. His songs have accumulated more than 900 million streams.

NILE general manager David Allen said, "The NILE could not be happier to have Ian headline our entertainment for the stock show this year. The NILE is a celebration of our farming and ranching heritage. Agriculture and country music go hand-in-hand. Ian understands this, and his music speaks to that connection."
Founded in 1967, NILE (the Northern International Livestock Exposition) draws thousands of participants and vendors from across the region to Billings each fall for a long weekend of events and activities, including the stock shows and pro rodeo.
