A New & Exciting Winter Event Might Be Coming to Great Falls

What's the best thing about living in Great Falls? I would easily say it's the sense of community. Whether it's going to 6-man football game on a Friday night or it's the Montana State Fair, the people in our town know how to celebrate and enjoy special occasions together.

Now, we have another potential event we could enjoy coming this winter.

Electric City Speedway Shares What's Coming Up

I recently had Jeramy Myers, owner of Electric City Speedway on the morning show and we talked about all of the success the speedway has been experiencing recently with events.

I wanted to know though: With new ownership, could we expect something different from what we're all used to this upcoming winter season?

"Are you guys working on anything big for this upcoming fall season or as we kind of get later into the year?" I asked him.

Jeramy laid out what's to come before getting to winter and man, let me tell you - it's going to get exciting!

"We've got five more shows or six more shows left," Jeramy said in the interview you can watch below, "Our big roundup is September 5th and 6th and that's when we run. The National Sprint Car Tour comes into town and brings their high level competition in here and then so are the Late Models."

Electric City Speedway Teases a Potential New Winter Attraction

And then he hit us with the big tease.

"So we may possibly try to do something with snowmobiles this year," Jeramy shared.

"So we don't know yet and we don't know where this has even taken us to but I'm going to go see some snowmobile shops in town and some clubs and see if there's anything we we can do."

"Of course, we need snow for that to happen."

Man, can you imagine snowmobile racing?! That would be so fun and I can only imagine what kind of action that'll bring to the Electric City. Would you want to partake in snowmobile racing? Would you want to go watch?
