Yellowstone Star and Country Musician is Coming to Missoula
She hasn't quite sparked a fashion trend back to bellbottom jeans. But she has become a force for females in country music.
And Lainey Wilson will be bringing both her sense of fashion and her soaring vocals to Missoula in a tour stop announced Friday morning.
Logjam Presents announced that Wilson will bring her "Country's Cool Again Tour" to Missoula next September (more details below).
Louisiana-bred Wilson has become a tour de force since she first performed before a sold-out audience at The Elm in Missoula in '22. At that point, she was still riding the success of her first big hit "Things a Man Oughta Know", which was her big breakout after 5-years of writing and recording.
Trendsetter
Since then, her Bell Bottom Country, with its iconic cover has soared, with "Heart Like a Truck", and "Watermelon Moonshine" dominating the charts and radio airplay. But she's also become one of the most in-demand female vocalists in Nashville, teaming with artists like Hardy, Jelly Roll, and others.
Wilson had already captured the ACM awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, and New Artist of the Year in 2022. This year she added Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year for her duet on "Wait in the Truck", and Visual Media of the Year for the same song.
She also gained additional fans for her guest appearance on the hit show "Yellowstone."
