Major Measles Update Out of Gallatin County
So here is the major measles update out of Gallatin County. Apparently everyone is fine and fully recovered. Great news.
Here's my question: why do we have so little information regarding this? Without identifying the people involved, should we be getting more details surrounding these cases?
All we were told is that the first 5 cases involved people who travelled outside of the state, and that their vaccination status was either unvaccinated or their vaccination status was unknown. These measles cases were first reported back in April. According to KBZK-TV, these were the first measles cases documented in Montana since 1990.
Commentary on social media immediately blew up on social media, with folks on the Left blaming "anti-vaxxers" and RFK, Jr. for the measles cases.
Here's what is so absurd about that rhetoric: we've always had a small segment of the population that hasn't taken part in vaccinations (and not just the stupid COVID shot). There were some families that didn't get vaccines long before and long after 1990. So what has changed in recent years? It's obvious to all of us: the wide open borders and the huge number of illegal aliens flooding into this country, especially in Gallatin County.
Here's the latest official news from Gallatin County:
Cases of Measles in Gallatin County.
As of May 5, we are beyond the timeframe in which we would expect to see measles cases resulting from community transmission. All measles cases in Gallatin County have recovered. There are currently no active cases to report.
