The Marlboro Man vs The Weed Man, A Hilarious Montana Take

Over the weekend I shared a really cool serious news story about how Montana's US Senator and Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy (R-MT) was part of the team that broke a world record while honoring the American flag in a freefall parachute jump. Very cool. If you missed it, check it out here.

There was something else from Senator Sheehy that just had me rolling laughing when I saw his post on X. I got to the serious news first, but this one was too hilarious not to share. The Marlboro Man versus the Weed Man. Some people apparently got very triggered by his post. I for one think a big reason Sheehy won the Senate race in such a big way last year is because of his sense of humor, and the fact that he doesn't take himself too seriously and can still joke around like he's hanging out in the team room with his fellow troops.

Sheehy shared an old school old campaign photo featuring the Marlboro Man that was shared by "Cigarette Nostalgia" on X. The post featured these words on the meme:

Some of the weed guys definitely got triggered.

I'm with Nick Smoot. He replied on X saying, "Cigar guys keep smiling." That's right. I don't want cigarettes or weed. But I do love a good cigar every now and then. It was practically the only thing we could enjoy when overseas in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. (Try the Tatankas and the Cattle Barons here in Montana...the Big Sky Cigars are very popular too)
