What a response from State Senator Greg Hertz (R-Polson). If you haven't been following the news lately, Montana Democrats are pretending to care about property taxes- even though almost every single one of them voted against the property tax rebates that will soon be coming to Montana taxpayers.

Jesse Mullen is one of those Montana Democrats who is pretending to show concern about property taxes- even though Democrats are the ones who constantly try to raise your taxes. He's the same guy who lost a legislative race (in Anaconda of all places) to  Republican Terry Vermiere.

As Mullen was attempting to virtue signal on property taxes, State Senator Greg Hertz (R-Polson) delivered this epic response:

MT Sen. Hertz: Jesse, if you don’t know how to check your mail or your bank statement for your $2500 rebate soon to show up, the one which only 2 Democrats voted for, I can ask Senator Vermeire to stop by and help you. Let me know if I can help.

I also got a kick out of the fact that Mullen was defending the IRS when they sent 20 fully armed IRS agents into a gun store in Great Falls...but again- here he is virtue signaling about taxes.

Wait, isn't that the same guy who owns newspapers but tells us it would be irresponsible to question the IRS...when his JOB as a newspaper owner is to question the government.

By the way, as the Montana Television Network reported- nearly 200,000 income tax rebate payments have already been processed. One of our listeners, Tim in Billings, said the rebate already hit his bank account. (No thanks to Montana Democrats, who also opposed the income tax cuts and the income tax rebates)
