We kicked off our coverage from the SHOT Show in Las Vegas after making the trip straight from President Trump's inauguration in Washington, D.C.

How big is the SHOT Show in Vegas? Let's just say you could pack 547 F-16 fighter jets into this same space, which is now filled with guns, and gear, and patriots.

I let "The Joker" from X, John Jackson, man the microphones and I ran upstairs to the Montana Governor's breakfast with all of the great Montana gun and outdoor gear businesses here for the SHOT Show- which is basically the world's biggest gun and outdoor gear show.

Governor Greg Gianforte (R-MT) then popped into media row and joined us as we kicked off our statewide radio show.

The governor and the team from the Montana Department of Commerce are down here promoting Montana businesses, and recruiting like minded businesses to Montana.

Gov. Greg Gianforte: "There are companies here at this show that now have operations in Montana that we met last year. And that's pretty exciting, because they recognize that Montana is a home to freedom and the American dream, and they didn't have it where they were. I was just talking to a gentleman this morning...he'd been in Minnesota. We met with him last year. Now he lives in Billings. He's got two businesses there. He's got three brothers that are moving their businesses. Another one I saw this morning, Ultimate Defense Systems. We met him here at the show last year. They just opened up an office in Billings as well, making RFID handgun safes that go into mobile vehicles."

Here's all four hours of our coverage from the SHOT Show Day 1 in Vegas:
