Montana Reports from SHOT Show, Border Crackdown Begins
The border crackdown and the effort to secure our borders has already begun. That was a big part of our day 1 conversations here at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
Not only is this the world's biggest gun and outdoor gear show, it's also a bit of a who's who of political movers and shakers. Last year, we caught up with Donald Trump, Jr., for example.
John Jackson, "the Joker from X," and I got to catch up with nationally syndicated radio talk show host Lars Larson- who has some great Montana connections and background.
Earlier, John and I were talking about how the Trump Administration was already starting to crack down on our southern border, and illegal aliens that entered this country over the last 4 years.
Lars Larson weighed in on President Trump's efforts to stop the practice of so-called birthright citizenship. Left wing state Attorneys General are trying to protect this outrageous practice.
Lars Larson: "22 states, including Oregon and Washington are going to waste the taxpayers money to bring a lawsuit on the 14th Amendment and the fact that Donald Trump has finally- this should have happened a long time ago- but finally said, we're going to challenge the current misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment. So these folks are going to spend 15 million bucks. They budgeted 15 million bucks just in the state of Oregon to bring this lawsuit. Number one, they don't have standing. Number two, it's a fool's errand, because they're not going to win. The 14th amendment does not say if you were just born on American soil, you're an American citizen."
