It's always a good news story when a family business gets to stay in business. And, I always enjoy hearing a great veteran entrepreneur success story- when people who served our country are able to own a business of their own.

Big congrats out to our friend Dustin Frost and Kevin Beagle. Dustin is a Sunburst, Montana native who served in the Army National Guard before starting his own business. More recently, he helped his fellow veterans by heading up the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) for the region. Kevin Beagle retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after serving over 20 years as an active duty enlisted soldier and officer in the US Army.

Together, the two veterans purchased Mullinax Irrigation & Construction Supply in Sheridan, Wyoming on March 17th.

Kevin Beagle, Legacy Irrigation & Supply President: For decades, the Mullinax name has been the trusted source helping ranchers, landowners and contractors throughout Northeast Wyoming and Southern Montana with unparalleled service, industry leading expertise and quality products. As the new owners of this company we look forward to the opportunity to continue building on the legacy created by the Mullinax family and team.

According to a press release from the company, Mullinax Irrigation and Construction Supply has been providing irrigation consultation, design, installation and supply to Sheridan, Wyoming area customers since 1971.

Beagle and Frost’s company, Legacy Irrigation & Supply, will continue doing business as Mullinax Irrigation and Construction Supply to facilitate the transition for Mullinax customers.

Nathan Mullinax, Mullinax President: We couldn’t be happier with this next generation of leadership at Mullinax Irrigation and Supply. Kevin’s experience as a military leader and CEO, combined with Dustin’s capabilities as a business advisor and successful marketing company owner, will ensure the company’s continued success.

Mullinax Irrigation & Construction Supply can be found at 615 Fort Road in Sheridan, Wyoming.  For more information, visit www.mullinaxirrigation.com.

Congrats to Dustin and Kevin and their families!
