Montana’s Massive Improvement, With More Tax Reduction to Follow
You gotta check out the chart below. Look at the states that raised taxes. Look at the states that lowered taxes. Now look at Montana. (Plus, there's a rally at the capitol Friday)
Greg Franks sent me a message during the radio show Wednesday featuring a ZeroHedge.com report, and added this great point:
Montana has the 'Second' highest percentage drop in income taxes! Coming in just slightly behind Iowa. With Gianforte's additional drop this legislative session Montana will probably rank the "Number 1" income tax decline in the entire United States in the last 25 years!
Here's the chart, and the story, from Zero Hedge:
If one thing should unite legislative Republicans here in Montana this session it is this: across the board income tax relief like what is being proposed yet again by Montana Governor Greg Gianforte.
Speaking of income tax relief, Henry Kriegel is the Deputy State Director for Americans for Prosperity-Montana. Earlier this week, he told us that AFP would be rallying in support of the Governor's income tax relief plan this Friday in Helena.
Here's the details sent out by AFP:
Big things are happening in Helena this Friday, March 28th! Governor Greg Gianforte’s SB 323 is moving forward, and we need your voice to help lower income taxes and keep more money in Montanans’ pockets. Plus, we’re standing strong in support of Trump’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) to ensure tax relief for hardworking families and businesses.
Join us in Helena for a Tax Rally with the Governor on the Capitol Steps!
Date: Friday, March 28th
Location: Montana State Capitol, Helena
9 AM – Committee Hearing (Testify in-person or remotely)
12 PM – Rally with Governor Gianforte on the Capitol Steps
For those of you that heard Henry with us on the radio and want to reach out, here's the best way to get a hold of him:
