Everybody’s Asking About This Montana Teachers Union Conference
Did they do it again? What kind of far Left nonsense was the teachers union pushing at their teacher's conference this year? Here's an inside report.
Background: Remember last year? We told you how Montana taxpayers helped foot the bill for a teacher's union conference that was pushing a crazy woke agenda one month before the big 2024 elections. Max Nelson with the Freedom Foundation joined us on the show to expose the event.
Max Nelson: "At least seven presentations were specifically focused on electoral politics and lobbying, even including presentations by union-endorsed candidates for office. Other panels covered the whole gamut of woke issues du jour including, but not limited to: “historical activism,” countering purported “book banning,” “EcoSchools,” “equity training,” promoting “LGBTQ+ issues,” fighting “microaggression at the workplace,” “indigenous pedagogy,” and implementing “diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) trainings.”
That was last year. What about this year?
A very smart young man we just had on the radio after the Turning Point USA event in Bozeman says he sat in on "the largest Teacher Union conference in the Northwestern U.S. in Missoula, Montana. You won’t believe what I caught them saying when leftist teachers and activists think no one is listening."
Here's part of what Finley Warden highlighted on X:
- In a Diversity Equity and Inclusion seminar, presenters bragged about continuing DEI programs despite pushback from parents, and one admitted to breaking student privacy rules.
- Another session taught teachers to play dumb and ignore parents who question DEI or Critical Race Theory being taught in the classroom.
- A middle school librarian bragged about re-adding a previously removed book with sexual content back into her library.
- A session on “Micro-aggressions in the Workplace” taught teachers how to identify racial, gender, and sexuality micro-aggressions. This is just the beginning. I have tons of material I’ll be releasing in the coming days. Stay tuned!!!
