Richest Man In Montana Worth Almost 13 Times More Than Beyoncé

We always think of celebrities as being rich, and well they are. They are, however, relatively dirt poor when you compare them to billionaires. In fact we're probably closer in wealth to celebrities than they are to the billionaires. Not that I think any of them are worrying about how to put food on their table.

Who is the richest man in Montana?

That would be Dennis Washington. Recently Forbes released their list showing the richest billionaires in the world. Dennis comes in at #397 with a net worth of $6.4 billion.

It's far more impressive with all the zeros 6,400,000,000.

How did he make his money?

Construction. In 1964 he started his own construction business and in just 5 years he was the largest contractor in Montana. From there he diversified into mining, railroads, marine services, coastal shipping, aviation and real estate.

So how rich is Beyoncé?

According to the StyleCaster website Beyoncé is worth right around $500 million dollars. Math was never my strong suit, but 6.4 billion divided by 500 million is 12.8, or almost 13 times less than Dennis.

Her husband Jay-Z is actually worth $1.3 billion. So both of them together are worth just under 3 times less than Dennis Washington is.
