There will be far fewer parking hassles for Clark Fork river floaters starting Thursday, thanks to a partnership between the University of Montana, Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the Downtown Partnership, the Mountain Line and the City of Missoula.
The Clark Fork river reached its flood stage on Wednesday night at 7.5 feet, according to meteorologist Brian Conlin with the National Weather Service, who spoke to KGVO news at about 3:30 Thursday morning.
Jordan Christensen, the third and final felony theft suspect wanted for allegedly attempting to steal a trailer in Frenchtown, was apprehended on Thursday afternoon.
