Yesterday I put up an article about Tim Montana being selected as an opener for the huge "Summer of '99" Tour's date this Monday evening in Bridgeport, Conneticut. The tour is headlined by 90's rock behemoths, Creed, and has been selling out arenes and amphitheaters since they hit the road late last Spring. A week ago, I had the absolute pleasure of attending their concert in Dallas, TX, and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. For any artist or band, this spot is a big damn deal.

Even for a guy who has a "Late Show with David Letterman" appearance and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top in his contacts list, this one is pretty cool. Butte, America's own Tim Montana has taken his latest song, "Devil You Know" into the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

His move from rival NBC changed the landscape of late-night television.

Sometimes it helps to have a few friends in high places. And sometimes that friend commends your work ethic, as Kid Rock recently did to our own Tim Montana.
