Earlier Wednesday, I wrote about how the Montana Democrats locked themselves inside "the Helena bubble" before losing big in the 2020 elections. What did Democrats in the Montana State Legislature do later that same day? They selected two lawmakers from Helena to serve as their leaders in both chambers.

Montana's Republican Senator Steve Daines came out swinging in the third and final debate, with fresh attacks on Democrat Gov. Steve Bullock. Daines specifically questioned Bullock on why he forced his female lieutenant governor out of office. Bullock, of course, never answered nor was asked by moderators to answer the question in a follow up.

We had a record turnout in Montana's June 2nd primary election. But who did they turn out for? Republicans.

Lieutenant Governor, and Democrat gubernatorial candidate, Mike Cooney (D-MT) was busted for making campaign fundraising calls from his official office in the state capitol.
