After the Tragedy, A Song for Anaconda, Montana

He put a poem together about the great people of Anaconda, Montana. Someone decided to put it to music. It went viral. Here it is.

The community of Anaconda has been hit hard following the devastating shootings that took the lives of four people at the Owl Bar.

Bernd Bergmann sent us the following note over the weekend:

Originally, I came up with a poetic tribute to Anaconda, Montana. It was just words and I posted it on Uniquely Anaconda and Amazing Anaconda Facebook pages. It got a few hundred likes and very nice compliments. One of the compliments came from a Jeani Morrison. She said my words need music. We became friends and she sent me a music soundtrack with voices using my exact words from my tribute, to become lyrics for this music.

Jeani used an app called Songer.co to make the song using AI. Bernd then made a video which he share on the Uniquely Anaconda and Awesome Anaconda Facebook pages.

It’s gotten almost 8,000 views between the two sites and I’ve had people tell me it should be Anaconda’s theme song. I don’t know about that and I have no intention to commercialize or make money from my video. I made it for the people of Anaconda.
