If you were listening to the radio in Lewistown the other day, you heard it right- Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA is coming to Central Montana.

Here's the easiest way to find them- just search for Turning Point USA Rise Montana on Facebook.

Mary Heller Houghton called in to the show to tell us all about it.

I am the newly appointed Chair for TPUSA-Rise in Lewistown and north-central Montana. I am one of five people who have joined the movement in Montana and are working on getting us coordinated to keep the momentum going.
What is TPUSA-Rise?
In a nutshell, it's an arm of TPUSA that is focused on strengthening TPUSA's mission of faith, family, and freedom with minorities. And "minorities" doesn't just mean skin color. Women are minorities. Christians are minorities. Low-income folks are minorities. Etc...you get the point!
What is her mission as the north-central Chair?
I will work with the four other people on my team to grow TPUSA in Montana as a WHOLE. We will coordinate with TPUSA-Faith (another arm of TPUSA) and all college campuses, high school groups, legislators, businesses, and community members to carry the mission of TPUSA across Big Sky Country. We are picking up Charlie Kirk's mic in our state!
Meetings coming up in Lewistown and Billings
I am holding an introductory meeting on Saturday, January 17th in Lewistown to get this introduction and education of what we're about. That meeting will be held at the Central Baptist Church, 195 Mile Drive, Lewistown, MT at 1pm. I am also hoping to help our Billings chair get a similar meeting scheduled for Saturday, February 7th in Billings.
