From Montana to Israel, On the Ground As Hostages Came Home
She worked for the Montana Farm Bureau before deciding to move to Israel. Shortly after that, the terrorist attacks struck Southern Israel and it has been a warzone ever since. That is- until President Trump helped broker a peace deal and got the living hostages finally returned home.
We caught up with Rachel Cone from Israel shortly after the peace deal was announced and the hostages had been returned home. She described the gratitude for President Trump, the United States of America, and the American flags lining the streets in Israel. She also thanked the people of Montana.
Here's part of what she shared the day after the hostages were released while she joined us on the radio from Israel back here in Montana.
Rachel Cone: "I definitely want to start off by just saying a quick thanks to you, to you folks, to the whole state of Montana. Really, we felt the support a long way, and it's helped. It's really, it's been a big deal because it helped achieve what happened."
Rachel Cone: "I moved to Israel about two and a half years ago. So most of my life here has actually been with war, which is really a crazy thing coming from peaceful, quiet Montana."
"Unfortunately, it's not over," she reminded us. To that I added, until we crush this jihadi mindset and this jhadi mentality the whole Middle East will continue dealing with this.
