National Media Viciously Attacks Montana Lawmaker, Billings Mom

A Montana lawmaker, and a mom from Billings, Montana, is now being viciously attacked by the national media and liberal commentators. Here we go again, the media is using a selectively edited clip from a speech to paint a false narrative.

Rep. Kerri Seekins-Crowe (R-Billings) shared a heart-wrenching story about being a mom and the challenges her daughter faced when she was younger. Leave it to the media mob to distort the facts and attack a real woman while they prop up a man who identifies as one. NBC News and other outlets had the audacity to suggest that Rep. Crowe would rather let her daughter commit suicide than to let her transition to another gender.

It was pretty pathetic to see The UK Sun pose the question- who is Rep. Kerri Crowe? , but obviously didn’t do any research. I profiled her recently after a Soros-backed group named her as the “Villain of the Week” due to her efforts to protect kids from these radical transgender surgeries. She’s the spouse of a US Marine veteran who served in Desert Storm and Somalia. Her daughter is proudly serving in the US Navy right now.

Rep. Seekins-Crowe is now receiving death threats and other harassing communications. “The parts of the story that was purposefully and egregiously wrong were that (1) my daughter is trans — she never was. Still isn't. (2) I walked with my daughter through her trial the entire time,” Rep. Seekins-Crowe told me. “What I was NOT willing to do was allow her to harm herself, allow her to NOT get medical treatment, allow her to NOT get counseling, allow her to convince us that her path of destruction was the right path to go down when she couldn’t see her own value and self-worth.”

Her daughter is alive and well today thanks to a loving mom like Kerri. These are real women, real moms, raising kids in really challenging times. Leave it to the media mob to attack her and them while propping up a transgender lawmaker from Missoula who isn’t man or woman enough to simply apologize for breaking House rules and move on.

It’s also worth pointing out that actual suicides INCREASE after a transition surgery occurs. Yet the radical trans activists bully parents by telling them that if you don’t trans your kids, they’re going to commit suicide. Twitter CEO and SpaceX Founder Elon Musk even pointed out the numbers from Sweden showing an increase in suicide following the procedures.

The press have proven my point about emotional manipulation. They have no interest in getting the story correct or even interpretation out so that they can manipulate the masses. And it worked. My family and I have received tens of thousands of threatening and harassing emails, phone calls, messages, social media posts. Local and national press are more interesting in getting their own listeners and followers fired up to destroy me than they are in portraying the truth. I was told by one local DJ today that although he doesn’t want to “lie,” it is politics and he can basically portray any truth he wants to.

People in crisis need help. Families in crisis need help. Our society is in crisis — and we need help. But the media has no interest in fixing this crisis. Their interest lies in destroying those who don’t fit their agenda.

I wouldn’t just do “anything.” Instead, I did everything. Including getting my daughter medical help, insisting that she get counseling, helping her recognize what her triggers were, encouraging her to see herself as a worthy and valuable human being, receiving help myself so that I could walk through this time with her that was caused by a traumatic incident.

My daughter said it best, “You can’t sum up a 3-year experience in a 3-minute testimony. But it’s astounding that the press has taken a story that was meant to help youth and families in crisis and purposefully twisted it into a weapon meant to destroy me and my family.”

But it won’t work. We are strong. And we know what the truth is."
