The Gallatin County Health Department reported two new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Thursday. These are the first cases for Gallatin County in two weeks. The two new positive cases are located in West Yellowstone and are in the same family. The cases are believed to be tied to out-of-state travel. There has been limited exposure to others in the community, and the family is cooperating with efforts by Gallatin City-County Health Department staff to limit the spread of the disease.

The Gallatin City-County Health Department is working with the individuals to support and sustain them through their isolation and quarantine. The Health Department says they will not be releasing any additional information about these individuals.

These two new cases bring the county's cumulative total to 148. We have had one death.
