Remember the "bougie" Bozeman hit piece story we shared back in July? That was from the liberal writer guy who was afraid of dogs in the back of pickups. Apparently a veteran owned gym selling Black Rifle Coffee scared the guy too.

Now there's another column that seems to be intent on scaring everybody about the Free States back here in the Rocky Mountain West. To be fair, it is an interesting read. And much like the last piece, it contains elements that many Montanans would agree with.

Here's the headline on a recent Vanity Fair piece:  INSIDE THE DISSIDENT FRINGE, WHERE THE NEW RIGHT MEETS THE FAR LEFT, AND EVERYONE’S BRACING FOR APOCALYPSE

So what do you think? Is everyone in Montana "bracing for Apocalypse?" Given the way things have been going under the policies of the Biden Administration and liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), I think Montanans are very concerned.

One family talked about moving to Bozeman, Montana after realizing that grocery store shelves were going empty in New York City. Now, they're being described as "preppers"- even though they seem very liberal.

Another writer in the piece, who is not an opponent of the LGBT movement, mentioned all the rainbow flags in downtown Bozeman. He added:

You go to these places where every single bar now looks exactly the same, the same IPAs, the same hamburger, the same interiors. It’s all called ‘local’ but actually what it is is f%@#ing private equity investment. And it’s just empty. There is no culture or life in that stuff. And people f%@#ing hate it.'

Another part of the piece that I also thought was interesting was the line about the division that so many people here in the West see. Here's how the writer describes that divide from the conservative/nationalist viewpoint:

...a divide between people who work in the so-called “real economy,” and the journalists and bureaucrats and bankers and everyone else who occupy the “managerial class.”

Like I say, it's an interesting piece, even though you can tell very clearly it is trying to cast the Free States here in the Rocky Mountain West in a negative light. I'd be interested in your take on the piece as well.
